NEXTARTS ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF OUR NEWEST INITIATIVE - JUST PLAY!™SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 13, 2007 Two very deserving Bay Area students were presented with new band instruments during a concert at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, today. Congratulations to Quinten Williams (Roosevelt Middle School) and Thoni Jackson (Excelsior Middle School), winners of brand new band instruments through our newest initiative - Just Play! Thanks to the generous support of Jupiter Band Instruments, with this newest program, we commence our arts education component by helping aspiring students overcome any social or economic hardship. To participate in Just Play! student musicians in the Bay Area should submit a letter describing why they need a new instrument, along with letters of support form their parents and teachers. Winners are chosen based on aptitude, need and dedication to continuing their music practice.  About NextArts: NextArts produces concerts in public spaces throughout San Francisco.
