Bus (from downtown SF):
Take bus #9 on Market Street to the intersection of San Bruno & Mansell Streets. Transfer to bus #29. Bus #29 runs through the park on Mansell Street. Exit at the amphitheatre.

BART/Bus:
BART to Balboa Park Station. Take bus #29 at the intersection of Geneva and San Jose Avenue. Bus #29 runs right through the park on Mansell St. Exit at the amphitheatre.

From San Francisco and the North Bay:
Take 101 South. Exit on Paul Avenue, go up Mansell Street (hill). Drive for about ¾ of a mile, turn right onto John F. John F. Shelley Drive (down hill). The amphitheatre is on the left.

East Bay:
Cross the bay bridge to 101 South. Follow directions from San Francisco and the North Bay.

South Bay:
101 North exit on Third Street toward Silver Avenue. Go straight and onto Bayshore Boulevard. Turn left on Paul Avenue. Turn left on San Bruno Avenue. Turn right onto Mansell Street and drive for 3/4 mile (up hill). Turn right onto John F. John F. Shelley Drive (down hill). The amphitheatre is on the left.

Excelsior / Ingleside / Southwest part of SF:
Follow Ocean Avenue. to Mission Street. Cross Mission Street. Ocean Avenue becomes Persia Street. Continue on Persia; it enters McLaren Park at Mansell Street. Follow Mansell Street to John F. Shelley Drive . Go left onto John F. Shelley Drive . The amphitheater is on the right.

Bayview / Portola / Southeast part of SF:
Go west on Silver Avenue to Cambridge Street. Turn left onto Cambridge Street and continue until it becomes John F. Shelley Drive . Turn left onto John F. Shelley Drive . The amphitheater is on the right.

Mission District:
Take Mission Street south to Silver Avenue. Turn left onto Silver Avenue and continue to Cambridge Street. Turn right onto Cambridge Street and continue until it becomes John F. Shelley Drive . Turn left onto John F. Shelley Drive.

PARKING: Except in designated areas, parking anywhere along John F. Shelley Drive is permitted.

Carpooling and Public transportation is encouraged.
